Senecio vulgaris, known as Groundsel, is a common weed with small yellow flowers and deeply lobed leaves. It is often considered a nuisance in gardens and fields but has some traditional medicinal uses. All parts of the plant are poisonous to humans and many mammals, with a cumulative liver-affecting toxin.
