Silverberry (Elaeagnus commutata) is a deciduous shrub with silvery leaves and fragrant flowers. It produces small, edible berries that can be used in jellies and wines. Silverberry is also known for its ability to improve soil fertility through nitrogen fixation and is often used in erosion control and reclamation projects.
