Amalanchier alnifolia - Serviceberry

Serviceberry (Amelanchier alnifolia) is a deciduous shrub or small tree producing small, sweet, blue-black fruits. The berries are used fresh, in pies, and jams. Serviceberries are also valued for their ornamental white flowers in spring and vibrant fall foliage.
