Comfrey (Symphytum officinale) is a perennial herb known for its large, hairy leaves and bell-shaped flowers. It is used in traditional medicine for its wound-healing and anti-inflammatory properties. Comfrey leaves are also used as a nutrient-rich mulch and compost activator in organic gardening.
