Honeysuckle (Lonicera caerulea var. edulis) is a deciduous shrub producing sweet, edible blue berries. The berries are rich in vitamins and antioxidants, used fresh, in jams, and for making liqueurs. Honeysuckle is also valued for its ornamental flowers and ability to attract pollinators.
