Buffaloberry is a genus of deciduous shrubs known for their silver-green leaves and bright red or orange berries. The berries are edible, high in vitamin C, and used in jams, jellies, and traditional medicine. Buffaloberry shrubs are also valued for their drought tolerance and ability to improve soil fertility through nitrogen fixation.
