Riverbank grape (Vitis riparia) is a cold-hardy deciduous vine of riverbanks, bottomlands, and thickets across cold semi-arid Eastern and Central North America, its acidic fruit eaten fresh or dried and widely used as frost-hardy grafting rootstock.
