Wild angelica (Angelica sylvestris) is a biennial herb native to most of Europe and W. Asia, found in moist fields, hedgerows, and open woods. Like other members of its genus, it contains furocoumarins that can increase skin sensitivity to sunlight and cause dermatitis on contact.¹
