Spoonleaf sundew (Drosera intermedia) is a carnivorous perennial herb of bogs and wet, sandy, acidic ground across Europe, eastern North America, and parts of eastern South America. Like other sundews, it traps insects on sticky, reddish leaf hairs to obtain nutrients in soils too poor to otherwise support it.1
