Round-leaved sundew (Drosera rotundifolia) is an evergreen perennial of wet, nutrient-poor peaty ground across Europe, northern Asia, and North America, sometimes forming a floating fringe on small ponds. It is carnivorous, trapping insects on sticky leaf hairs to obtain nutrients that its soil cannot supply.1
