Sulla (Hedysarum coronarium) is a biennial or short-lived perennial forage legume native to the western Mediterranean and North Africa, widely grown across the Mediterranean basin for grazing, hay, and silage. As a nitrogen fixer it also serves as a soil-building pioneer species on degraded ground.
