Moldavian dragonhead (Dracocephalum moldavica), also called Moldavian balm, is a lemon-scented annual herb native to dry hills, stony riverbanks and valleys from eastern Europe to eastern Asia.1 Its leaves make a lemon-scented tea and its young shoots are also eaten, while its essential oil, a source of citral, is used in scent-making.1
